Challenge EVO Corvette Fordite Cuff

A beautiful piece of Fordite from the Corvette assembly plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky serves as the focal point for this one-of-a-kind cuff made from the metal of a Ferrari Challenge Evo in Giallo Modena. The Corvette 'Fordite' stone is made from layers upon layers of cured Corvette auto paint. The layers of dried car paint eventually build up into a chunk of "rough," which is then cut and polished into cabochons filled with swirling kaleidoscopes of color.

We made a sterling silver hand fabricated setting that holds the Corvette paint stone perfectly, and riveted it onto the body of the Ferrari cuff. The juxtaposition of bright primary colors next to the Ferrari's original factory paint is truly stunning.

Taking car metal and turning it into beautiful jewelry is no easy task. Our artists spend a lot of time ensuring that each CRASH item meets our high standards for quality and design.  

We engraved the name of the car it came from inside the cuff, as well as the date it was created. All CRASH jewelry is one-of-a-kind and handmade in our studio based in a body shop in Los Angeles.
