Lamborghini Amethyst Earrings

These elegant earrings are made from a Lamborghini Superleggera Gallardo in Bianco Monocerus. ("Superleggera" means superlight. ) We cut by hand two teardrop shapes from the white aluminum metal and sanded and polished the edges. We suspended these shapes from purple rose cut amethyst gemstones set in sterling silver. We purposely hung the white Lambo shapes upside down for a more compelling look. On the backside of the earrings we engraved the name of the car, and the date it was made.
