Did you know that car metal disposed of in a landfill can take over 60 years to decompose? The good news is, in today’s world, many car parts are recycled to make new cars and other steel products. Every year, the steel industry recycles more than 14 million tons of steel from end-of-life vehicles. Here at CRASH, we are proud to be part of the worldwide effort to recycle vehicles and to celebrate Earth Day by sharing with you how we contribute.

We make all of our jewelry out of a Los Angeles luxury body shop that repairs cars like Tesla, Maserati, Bentley, Mercedes, BMW, Audi, you name it! When these cars get in minor accidents, parts such as bumpers, fenders, and hoods are replaced if they are damaged. Normally, the damaged part would end up in a landfill or junkyard. But instead, it gets a second life as beautiful jewelry. Every single one of our products is made from this luxury car metal.
